updated profiles on Bart and Pauline

Bart is searching for a forever home with plenty of love, time, and activity! He is very much a puppy at almost 6 months old, and full of puppy energy. He needs a home where he'll get lots of exercise and of course, the remedial training that he hasn't had during his 5 months of living under abandoned houses and eating out of trash cans. He's truly a loving boy and gets along well with everyone, but will require patience from prospective owners. If you think Bart might be a good match for your family, please email me at kellygaus@gmail.com

Pauline is battling with skin irritation, likely due to food allergies. She's been switched to a new food which will hopefully help -- but she's otherwise doing great! I can't say enough about how wonderful this girl is. Very sweet, and at the end of a long day of playing, all she wants is some shared body heat! She is a joy to have around the house, but is a typical, rough and tumble, playful pit pup, and will need lots of activity and supervision. Pauline is probably too rough for small children or small dogs, unless her potential home is very experienced. If you think Pauline might be a good match for your family, please email me at kellygaus@gmail.com

All 9th Ward dogs go home up to date on vaccinations and heartworm/flea prevention, spayed/neutered, and with full vet records and any current medications. All adoptions require an application, home check, vet reference, and adoption donation.
