busy in the 9th Ward!

Three adoptions last week! Tip (the pit pup), Zula (the lab mix pup), and Mia (the lab mix) went to wonderful forever homes, and we're very happy for them!

That leaves D9 still inundated with amazing dogs -- four more 9th Ward puppies need homes (3 females and 1 male) and other wonderful dogs are still searching. The Lady Motley was spayed last week, so she is ready for her forever home.

On Saturday, D9 will be debuting at the Freret Market! That should be a lot of fun and all the adoptable dogs and pups will be there, so please spread the word and come out to meet them.

We can't take in any more needy dogs until we place some -- and there are so many that need our help. The pictures below are of a (gorgeous!) large male Rottweiler who was roaming my block last night (the small dog in the pictures belongs to a neighbor). I have to ignore amazing dogs like these every day until I can get more adoptive homes, more foster homes, and more donations. If you can help in anyway, please email me at kellygaus@gmail.com
