D9 breaking news: 9th Ward pups, The Lady Motley, & Mia

It's been a very eventful week here at D9.

9th Ward pups: Doing great! Loving foster care, making up for lost time on socializing, getting happier and healthier by the day. They will soon be fully vetted and ready to go to their forever homes. These sweet, orphaned babies deserve the best home possible. Please consider donating towards their veterinary care (we are in desperate need!) or maybe even taking one of these sweet pups into your home. kellygaus@gmail.com

The Lady Motley: The Lady went to the vet yesterday and everything went fabulously. She is an estimated 8-10 months old, 30 pounds and slightly underweight (should be 35), and quite healthy: heartworm negative, intestinal worm free, and not showing any signs of other illness. The vet was, of course quite taken with her: this is one sweet little lady! We think she has some spaniel and boxer in her, and quite likely shepherd somewhere in the background. The Lady Motley would love to meet you soon. She'll be ready for her forever home as soon as she's spayed. If you're interested in Miss Motley, please contact kellygaus@gmail.com.

The Beautiful Lady Motley

Mia: Mia went into foster care on Tuesday -- finally sprung from the vet! (Although her poor buddy Slim is still there.) She is doing fabulously at home, not having housebreaking issues, and getting along well with her other animal family members: two elderly dogs and a cat. She's learning some remedial manners and her foster mom raves about her. This little lady also had a play date at my house on Monday and did great with all my dogs. She's a very sweet little lady and is fully vetted and ready to go home. Please contact kellygaus@gmail.com to meet Miss Mia.
