I am pleased to announce that Scout, the sweet, gentle German Shepherd who has been with us since early July, has found a wonderful family and will be going home on Thursday! We're all very happy for Scout. And he'll still be right here in the 9th Ward, so we'll get to see him often.
I am still desperate for fosters, as Slim and Mia are still boarding at the vet. I'm also still searching for donations for Tula's heartwrom treatment (see story below). Tula will make it to San Fransisco this evening, and then she'll begin searching for her forever home. Meanwhile, Bart is going to be on TV soon -- details to come soon!
