Today was a happy day for D9. Scout, the sweet, gentle German Shepherd who was abandoned at the edge of the Industrial Canal last spring, went to his forever home today. He's still right here in the Bywater area of the 9th Ward, living the good life he deserves with his new family. When I left Scout in his new home, he was a very happy, tail-wagging boy -- perhaps happier than I've ever seen him! We're all thrilled for Scout.
