9th Ward pups Rexie (yellow female) & Andi (brown female) play by my bed
The 9th Ward pups got a good, thorough vet check yesterday, and nothing more serious than a severe case of intestinal worms came up. Soon they will be worm-free and all healthy and happy. One puppy, the black male, was even lucky enough to find a wonderful new home! Hurray!
If you would like to meet the 5 remaining 9th Ward pups (1 male and 4 females), or any of our 6 amazing older puppies and adult dogs, you'll have two opportunities:
- Next Saturday, September 26th, D9 will be at Cabrini Park in the French Quarter (corner of Dauphine and Barracks) from 3pm-6pm. Come hang out with the dogs, enjoy a complimentary cold drink, and maybe meet your best friend!
- The following Saturday, October 3, D9 will be making our debut at the Freret Market! The Freret Market features a wide array of hot food, produce, arts and crafts, and other items for sale, as well as live music and pet adoptions. Please come out and support us, get some good food, and hear some music. The market will run from 12noon to 5pm.
We are really excited about these events and look forward to seeing you there. Please email me at kellygaus@gmail.com for additional information. If you would like to volunteer at either event, please let me know.
